SPAR*K IS LOOKING FOR INTERNS
TWe are offering 6 month, paid internships to support our building projects, competition designs as well as building our architectural sculptures. We are a young, progressive architectural firm, thus you will get intense insights into our work environment and can participate in all processes in an architectural office. We expect a flexible and motivated attitude, proactivity as well as experienced computer and design skills. Since most of our projects are in Germany, proficient knowledge in German (written and spoken) is mandatory.
To be adept in construction for the setup of our sculptures and have experience in execution planning is a plus.
Starting date: 15.03. 2012 or later

As in the past few years, SPAR*K is taking part in the Neukölln art festival Nacht und Nebel! Every year several thousand visitors come to the district for the festival, during which – as a special feature – the visitors can get free cab rides from one art gallery to another. For the event, we extended and edited our ceiling light sculpture RAUMRAUSCHEN, added a sound installation and are looking forward to see you here,

November the 5th from 6 p.m.

together with SPAR*KMUSIC and the SPAR*KBAR! As usual, it’s open end.

Die Ostrale findet 2011 zum fünften mal statt und stellt auf dem ehemaligen Dresdner Schlachthofgelände die Arbeiten von über 150 internationalen Künstlern aus.

After successful events such as the Blue Night in Nürnberg and 48 hrs Neukölln in Berlin, we are happy to announce that SPAR*K will also participate in this years OSTRALE – INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF CONTEMPORARY ARTS, which we cordially invite you to!
This is the fifth year of the Ostrale art festival, taking place on the former abattoir area in Dresden and exhibiting over 150 international artists.
SPAR*K is designing and constructing the spatial light installation RAUMRAUSCHEN and is looking forward to seeing you there!

SPAR*K möchte auch in diesem Jahr recht herzlich zur Kunst- und Kulturveranstaltung 48h Neukölln einladen. Ganz besonders freut uns in diesem Jahr, dass SPAR*K mit der Lichtinstallation BLING BLING SCAPES zu einer der 48h Neukölln Highlights nominiert wurde!
48h Neukölln ist das zum 13. mal stattfindende Festival für Kunst und Kultur in Neukölln und zieht inzwischen mehr als 70.000 Besucher zu den über 700 Einzelveranstaltungen. In diesem Jahr spielt die Veranstaltung mit dem Thema ‘Luxus Neukölln’.
Wir beginnen den Freitag Abend ab 19h traditionell mit viel Musik und der SPAR*KBAR zu unserer diesjähigen Skulptur BLING BLING SCAPES. Zusammen mit Euch und unseren Besuchern möchten wir wie immer bis in die Morgenstunden feiern.

SPAR*K + SAFT:
Ab Samstag wird außerdem in unseren Räumen die Theatergruppe RAMPIG vom Haus der Jugend Heidelberg zu jeder vollen Stunde ihr performatives Stück ‘SAFT’ aufführen. In Zusammenhang mit der flackernden SPAR*K Lichtskultpur ein spannendes Ereignis!

Dear friends and colleagues,

SPAR*K would like to invite you to the art and culture event 48h Neukölln in 2011. We are especially pleased that this year, our light installation BLING BLING SCAPES has been nominated as one of the 48h highlights! 48h Neukölln is the art and culture festival which takes place for the 13th time this year, attracting more than 70.000 visitors to over 700 events.
We start traditionally the Friday evening with lots of music, our famous SPAR*KBAR and our sculpture. Together with you and our visitors we would like to celebrate until dawn.

SPAR*K + SAFT:
Saturday and Sunday, the theatre group RAMPIG from the Haus der Jugend Heidelberg is performing on the hour their performance play ‘SAFT’. Together with the flickering SPAR*K light sculpture an exciting event!

Liebe Freunde und Kollegen,

wir möchten Euch herzlich zu Nacht & Nebel einladen, neben 48h Neukölln die zweite große Kunstveranstaltung in Neukölln, an der SPAR*K wie im letzten Jahr teilnehmen und ausstellen wird.

After several architectural sculptures, such as the recent one displayed at the Ostrale Dresden until 2014, made out of plastic tubes and cable binders, SPAR*K is now working with a new and exciting material:

For all of you not too fond of walking in the cold: There’s a courtesy taxi shuttle from art site to art site all night.
